Content Policy
BetIQ Social exists to help bettors share honest tips, track real outcomes, and build a community around informed betting. These rules exist to keep that community accurate, respectful, and safe for everyone.
1. At a Glance
- Honest betting tips with real odds and stakes
- Post-match analysis and breakdowns
- Constructive debate and discussion
- Sharing your genuine win/loss record
- Promoting responsible gambling awareness
- Community challenges and leaderboards
- Falsifying bet outcomes or statistics
- Spam, fake accounts, or artificial engagement
- Harassment, hate speech, or threats
- Promoting unlicensed bookmakers or scams
- Any content involving minors
- Encouraging irresponsible gambling
2. Accuracy & Honesty
The core value of BetIQ Social is verifiable honesty. All bet outcomes are settled automatically via live score data — you cannot manually mark a lost bet as won. Despite this:
- Do not post tips that misrepresent your actual stake, odds, or reasoning
- Do not claim winnings from bets you did not actually place
- Do not use screenshots or fabricated data to support false claims
- Do not retroactively post tips after a match has started to appear prescient
Accounts found manipulating their statistics will be permanently banned.
3. Respect & Community Standards
You must not post content that:
- Harasses or threatens any individual or group
- Is hateful on the basis of race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or nationality
- Doxxes or shares private personal information about others without consent
- Bullies or targets other users in a sustained or coordinated way
- Is deliberately offensive with no legitimate purpose
Healthy debate about betting strategies, team form, and predictions is welcome. Personal attacks are not.
4. Spam & Manipulation
- Do not post the same tip or message repeatedly across the platform
- Do not use bots, automation, or third-party services to inflate likes, followers, or engagement
- Do not create multiple accounts to evade a ban or circumvent platform rules
- Do not engage in coordinated inauthentic behaviour to boost a tipster's apparent performance
5. Commercial Content & Promotion
You may not use BetIQ Social to:
- Advertise or promote bookmakers, tipster subscription services, or betting tools without our prior written approval
- Share referral links to gambling operators
- Solicit payment from other users in exchange for tips or predictions
- Promote unlicensed or unregulated gambling operators

6. Responsible Gambling Content
Content that normalises, glorifies, or encourages problem gambling behaviour is prohibited. This includes:
- Encouraging users to chase losses or "go all in"
- Framing betting as a reliable income source or investment strategy
- Targeting or encouraging users who have indicated they have a gambling problem
- Mocking users for losing bets in a way that could cause harm

7. Child Safety
Any content that involves, targets, exploits, or endangers minors is strictly prohibited and will result in an immediate permanent ban and a report to the relevant authorities. See our full Child Safety Policy.
8. Intellectual Property
Do not post content that infringes the intellectual property rights of others, including copyrighted images, broadcast footage, or proprietary data. We will respond to valid takedown notices under applicable copyright law.
9. Enforcement
Violations of this policy may result in:
- Content removal — the specific post or comment is taken down
- Warning — a notice sent to your account
- Temporary suspension — loss of posting privileges for a set period
- Permanent ban — account termination with no right of appeal for the most serious violations
We reserve the right to skip directly to a permanent ban for severe violations such as CSAM, hate speech, or coordinated fraud.
10. Reporting Content
To report a post, comment, or account that violates this policy:
- In-app: Tap the three-dot menu on any post or profile → "Report"
- Email: safety@betiqsocial.com
All reports are reviewed by our moderation team. We aim to action reports within 48 hours (24 hours for child safety concerns).
